Beverly Hills real estate is some of the most desirable in the world. Since the 1920s, having a Beverly Hills address has been the address to have when it comes to living in the greater Los Angeles area. The reasons are plentiful. Beverly Hills real estate is perfectly central to Los Angeles, it has some of the most beautiful houses in the entire city, and the lots are large enough to create a sense of privacy unavailable in other parts of the city. The advantage here is that property tax dollars are collected and spent in Beverly Hills alone. Police, schools and municipal services tend to be much better funded in Beverly Hills for this reason. In fact, Beverly Hills boasts a highly desirable school district, which is one of the best public school districts in California. This is not to say that every piece of Beverly Hills real estate is a mansion. There are certainly more affordable houses, co-ops and apartments available, as well as commercial real estate openings. It must be said, though, that Beverly Hills real estate skews more expensive than the surrounding neighborhoods. Then again, the zip code alone may be worth it. In today's market, finding Beverly Hills real estate is as tough as ever. Prices are rising, and buyers and investors are flocking to get a piece of the action.
